"Happier at Home is exactly what I have been looking for.  Happier at Home allows Jake, an energetic Jack Russell Terrier, and Hannah, a bossy Yorkshire Terrier, to stay at home, secure in their surroundings while I travel.  Jake was a rescue dog, and very insecure for a long time after I got him and this was important to me.  You love my dogs as much as I do and it shows in your care of them. You were very thorough in getting acquainted with Jake and Hannah.  You spent time with all of us before my trip, playing with them and learning how they interact.  I returned home expecting two affection starved 'babies' (as at other times) and instead found they were happy and content.  In fact, I don't think they realized I had been gone until the next day. One of many examples of the quality of her service is our experience during the Christmas of 2006.  We hired Jackie for the first time while we were visiting family in Phoenix, Arizona.  A blizzard hit Northern Colorado, and we were unable to fly back home for a week.  When we called her to let her know we were not going to make it back as originally planned, she had already anticipated our delay, checked our flight online, and ventured out in less-than-ideal snow conditions to make sure that our kitties were taken care of.

Jackie’s attention to detail was remarkable.  She always followed our directions to the letter and contacted us if she noticed something that needed to be taken care of or if she had any questions about our requests.  Each time we came home, we always found an informative (and quite witty) letter outlining what she had done and the activities and behavior of the kitties.  She has a wonderful way with animals and Simon and Bucky just love her!

We recently relocated to the DC area, and one of the considerations in our ‘cons’ list was losing our exceptional pet sitter.  Happier at Home truly provides a standard of service that is rare to find.  Jackie is the only petsitting service our veterinarian at Sheep Draw recommends, and rightfully so – she is prompt, courteous, conscientious, affordable and - above all - will put the safety, security and happiness of your pets first."
